Студия Creative Assembly поделилась трейлером масштабного дополнения Mortal Empires, объединяющего карты и контент Total War: Warhammer и Total War: Warhammer 2. Оно будет бесплатным для владельцев обеих игр.
Mortal Empires предлагает новую грандиозную кампанию, события которой развенутся как в Старом, так и в Новом свете. Вы сможете играть за любую сторону конфликта — всего на выбор будут доступны 117 фракций и 35 легендарных лордов. Дополнение обещает сотни часов увлекательной игры и дает игрокам возможность неограниченно развивать свою империю в мире Warhammer Fantasy Battles.
Mortal Empires также обладает особенностями кампаний из Total War: Warhammer 2, включая поиск сокровищ в руинах, морские сражения, мятежные армии, верность, обряды и способности армий четырех рас Нового Света, новые карты для обороны дефиле, морские штормы, рифы и отмели, захват территорий и другое. Кроме того, в дополнении содержатся улучшения интерфейса.
Creative Assembly представила мега-карту дополнения Mortal Empires, которое объединит земли, фракции и генералов обеих частей Total War: Warhammer. Разработчики обещают, что объединенные земли будут неимоверных размеров, где найдется место для всех 117 фракций.
Релиз дополнения Mortal Empires для Total War: Warhammer 2 ожидается уже 26 октября. DLC будет бесплатно лишь для тех, кто владеет обеими частями игры.
Mortal Empires is a combined campaign in Total War: Warhammer II. It is only available to players who own both Total War: Warhammer and Total War: Warhammer II.
Mortal Empires combines the Old World with the New World landmasses seen in the Eye of the Vortex campaign. The campaign features over 120 factions spread across more than 300 settlements, over 100 spells, over 50 legendary lords and over 350 unit types, making it the single largest campaign map ever created by Creative Assembly.
Mortal Empires launched on October 26, 2017. To play it, you must be download it manually from Steam for free.

In the Potion of Speed Update Mortal Empires turn times reduced greatly, they had previously been quite long.

How it plays [ edit | edit source ]
- The Mortal Empires campaign is the largest campaign in Total War: Warhammer to date. It contains over 50 playable Legendary Lords, most of which have their own unique faction/starting position.
- Unlike Eye of the Vortex, Mortal Empires has no story progression, no rituals. It is more of a sandbox.
- Unlike The Old World campaign, there is no regional occupation to limit colonization. Most factions can settle anywhere, but may take penalties in bad climates.
- The exceptions to this are Norsca, Wood Elves and horde factions.
