Сразу после анонса я захотел что-то подобное для моего PC. Steam Link — это здорово и качественно. Стал использовать BigPicture, хотя раньше его даже не касался. 10/10. Покупайте.
Первое, что приходит на ум, это "вау". Играл в "Ведьмака 3" на максимальных настройках графики. Шикарно!
Можно транслировать экран рабочего стола и запускать таким образом фильмы и подключить контроллер или клавиатуру по блютуз.
Подключается легко, обновляется сам, настройки не требует, сразу находит компьютер с включенным Steam и включает Big Picture. То, чего стоило бы опасаться — лагов, нет вообще.
Долгожданная игрушка для моей коллекции. Оправдывает каждый потраченный рубль.
Отличная штука. Остался доволен такой дешевой заменой консоли.
Шикарное устройство! Комп стоит в одном конце квартиры, а сам сидишь на диване, перед огромным телеком, в руках Steam Controller и играешь в любимую игру. Вот оно истинное удовольствие!
Работает идеально. Хотя это ведь абсолютно новый продукт, требующий множества обновлений. В любом случае, о покупке не пожалел ни разу.
Поверьте, играть, расслабившись на диване, гораздо круче, чем сгорбленным над клавиатурой. Простая установка. Хотя с настройками придется повозиться.
Удивлен этим устройством. Играл в Fallout 4 через WiFi без задержки. А сегодня узнал, что могу использовать его для управления компьютером и просмотра фильмов.
I know there are a couple of threads regarding this. Both old and new, but I still can’t wrap my head around this.
I bought a XBONE Controller + Wireless for Windows 10, hoping that it would work quite well with the Steam Link, since I’ve read those controllers are "supported".
Sure enough, I can plug it into my PC and use it while I’ve already started the Steam Link with my Steam Controller. But is there anyway to actually sync it with Bluetooth, or plug the USB Bluetooth adaptor into the actual Steam Link and make it work natively?
I’ve read this could be achieveable with VirtualHere, but before I actually spend more money to get this controller work I would like to know if VirtualHere really solves my problem.

Actually you don’t need the USB Bluetooth at all on Steam Link. Just do these steps:
1. Start Steam Link, without starting the streaming.
2. Go to options > Bluetooth. There will be all the BT devices connected if you have any.
3. Press Xbox button on the Xbox Controller to start it. It will flash slowly.
4. Press the Sync button for 2-3 seconds, a small one on the back. The Xbox button will flash faster.
5. Wait a few seconds. It will be appear on the list now.
6. With other device or controller, go to Xbox Controller and select it to Connect. After a moment it will say "connected".
Now you can use it full wireless.
When both controller and steam link are off, you can start Steam Link with the Xbox Controller pressing the Xbox button for 1 second.
There is a small "bug" with the controller. If you shut down the Steam link, the controller will flash searching his xbox. It will not respond at all at this moment. Don’t worry, just let it rest and it will shut down itself after 1-2 minutes.
Just note that you won’t be able con restart Steam Link with the Xbox controller the first 2 minutes after shutting down steam link. If you need to restart it, you can remove the battery until stop flashing, or just wait.
I recently got the Steam link but its specification is not really helpful. There is just a diagram without any description what to do.
From what I can figure from the diagram, I’m guessing I’m either supposed to plug my PC directly into the house modem, and my Steam Link into my TV, or vice versa.
Problem is, my PC, TV, and the house modem are all in entirely different rooms and are too far away to connect via cable. I can’t move the modem to another room.
Does anyone here know a way I could set this up wirelessly without moving the modem or other things closer together?
